Monday Morning Blues

Morning Jo,

Hope you had a good time at the cottage. I had a good time on my porch. I had a bit of a blue weekend. Started listing all the things I want to do..and the places i want to go.. and especially all of the people I want to hug...and started to feel sorry for myself. I wonder when it will end.. or if it will end.

Feeling more hopeful this morning. and I want to do some creative work. 

I made a cushion this weekend for a friend. Its made of her late father's ties. It's checkered with white cotton.

 and the back is from a man's button up shirt. the buttons make it easy to insert the pillow form and easy to remove it for washing.

I hope she likes it. 

and I tidied in my studio. Its not as tidy as yours..and it never will be but I can get to the sewing machine and not step on a pin or trip over fabric.

Not sure what I am going to do today. I could finish the jacket I started. It's all cut out and ready to sew. or I could do a little bit of hand stitching for a page in someone's book. Or I could just take a day for playing.
