Hey Jo, Do you have a pair of scissors I can use?
All of those tools would make great resists for some sun printed fabric. That pic would make a great card. you could send one to all your sewing friends..they would be very jealous. First that you have all of those utensils and second that you know where they all are.
Amazing what you can find when you are looking for something else. I searched my house for two months looking for the silk flowers that I put in my window boxes come summer. I found them right where I had already looked, while I was looking for something else.
Yes I put fake flowers in my window boxes. I mix then with real ones. I spend a lot of time at my trailer so i don't have to hope that someone else will water the flowers. I think it looks nice. It's easier.
Look what I got in the mail yesterday. it's beautiful. My collection of fabric postcards is growing. I am trying to think of a way to display them all. Thanks very much. It brightened my day. Thanks.
And I thought of the name for my latest double wedding ring quilt.
I know you like lists. I really don't like them. Maybe I am afraid to see how long they would be.
It's getting worse. The list gets longer and longer. Lately I have been feeling as though I need to embark on a huge project to mark this special pause in my life. Because I hope that I can come out the other side with an epic heroic thing that I created to prove that I was here and that I coped brilliantly. Some artists are posting things about huge creative enterprises that will be monuments to covid. The internet is full of individuals and special interest groups making things and writing about coping with isolation. While here I sit: playing on my computer, picking up an English accent from too much Acorn.
Cheerio!!
