Some finishes, some progress.....

 Karen

I don't know where the time fly's. I have meant to contact you everyday the past week. But time is passing at a rapid speed.

Today I am just going to take a moment to catch you up.  In the last two weeks we have found out DS2 is marrying on the 14th of November. The shower was last night via Zoom so tech needed to be in place and a general clean up of the area that has been a stock pile for stuff. No stress in this house. It actually went quite well. Family could all zoom in from other areas so my sister could attend, family from Ottawa, St. Thomas and near by too. I haven't been to a zoom shower but it was fun and the technology went off well.

Sort of a preview for the Wedding next Saturday. Details are simple. Minister and the immediate family only but we will post a link of a video when it it ready.  Details are being ironed out tonight.

On the sewing front I have been cracking down and taking time to do a few things.

I practiced my wool dyeing.

This was very fun. I can't wait to produce more after the wedding.

I also have been finishing. I finished a ecoprinted table runner, longarmed a 70 by 80 quilt and worked on the ice dye double wedding quilt. So I will be able to start on our challenge.

Her is the picture of  your quilt that hung on the line the day I visited.
It really looks beautiful. I love the different colours of rings you used with the ice dyes. I can't wait to finish mine and see them side by side.

What have you been up too?

Jo
